About
Our Story
Madison Flyers opened in July, 2001 with three airplanes and two instructors. Our first offices were located in the original terminal building at the corner of Hangar One. With the widening of Old Canton Road in 2008, we moved to our current location between Hangar Two and Hangar Three at the north end of the airfield. By 2018, we were part of the Cirrus Aircraft family as we were designated a Cirrus Training Center.
We are open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m., and from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Sunday. We are also available outside of those hours by appointment. We only close on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Mothers’ Day.
Our FAMILY
Since 2001, we have grown to a family of 10 instructors and four office managers. Our total flight experience exceeds 50,000 hours. We are a mix of full-time and part-time flyers and our backgrounds include military and general aviation training and experience.
